Responsibilities
Minimum of 5 years of recent experience underwriting Small Balance Loans (SMALLS/SBL), Affordable Housing and/or Seniors multifamily loans.
Strong knowledge of and experience with Agency Multifamily Guides and Updates, Agency internal Forms and Exception Lists.
Analyze, interpret, and underwrite complex multifamily real estate transactions in compliance with respective agency guidelines (Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac)
Ability to problem-solve and exercise independent judgment while displaying a high degree of initiative and accuracy
Demonstrated ability to organize & prioritize projects, complete multiple tasks on schedule
Ability to work productively under minimal supervision
Strong work ethic
Proactive team player, able to work effectively under sometimes stressful conditions.

Required
5+ years of Agency (Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae) or CMBS Multifamily due diligence and underwriting experience
Minimum of 5 years of recent experience underwriting Small Balance Loans (SMALLS/SBL), Affordable Housing and/or Seniors multifamily loans

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or other related fields
5+ years commercial underwriting experience
Prior CMBS/Agency underwriting experience, ideally with extensive familiarity of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Multifamily Guides
Preferred
Extensive familiarity with CMBS B-piece, Fannie Mae and/or Freddie Mac Multifamily Guides
