Responsibilities
Conduct a comprehensive review of the existing website structures, identifying areas for improvement in user experience and succinct public health messaging
Draft a website improvement proposal for streamlining and restructuring content based on website goals and user needs
Gather feedback from CAMI Health’s team on the proposal to refine recommendations and improve communication skills
Begin redesigning the IMPT and CAMI Health website to reflect a 'start-up' feel that emphasizes vision, mission, and opportunities for support
Address any accessibility compliance issues following NIH 508 standards, with an emphasis on understanding the role of accessibility in nonprofit settings
Test new designs and gather feedback from CAMI’s feedback group to assess improvement in user experience
Quality of deliverables, including the website proposal, redesign, and final analysis report
Feedback from CAMI Health’s team members on the intern’s collaboration, communication, and adaptability
Self-assessment and reflection on personal growth and skill acquisition

Required
A high school senior or junior
Computer experience and an interest in website design
Ability to work effectively in a remote-work environment
Ability to maintain consistent availability and communicate over virtual communications platforms (such as Slack, Zoom, Dropbox, Google Drive, and Outlook), and productivity as expected in an office environment
