Responsibilities

Support the dissertation students providing expertise, knowledge, and/or resources

Review the dissertation proposal and the full dissertation and give approval

Contribute a new lens to the dissertation process

Help to refine the scope of the literature review or redesign the methodology

Put their stamp of approval on both the dissertation proposal and final draft

Approve any major changes the students make to the proposal or final product

Maintain regular communication with both the dissertation chair and the students

Provide critical feedback and thorough evaluations of dissertation manuscripts to support graduate students in achieving academic excellence
