Responsibilities
Monitoring and staying informed of changes to all national, statewide and local regulations/laws impacting the pharmacies to ensure a continuous state of compliance.
Supporting tracking and implementing industry specific regulatory reporting bulletins.
Developing and implementing related policies, processes and procedures ensuring licensing and regulatory compliance for operational excellence.
Completing, managing and tracking the timely renewal submissions of existing pharmacy licenses to ensure uninterrupted operations across all locations.
Conducting regular audits to ensure the accuracy and completeness of regulatory and licensing compliance records.
Preparing and distributing regular reports on the status of licenses and regulations to management as needed.
Liaising with state boards of pharmacy, regulatory agencies, and other relevant authorities to address any questions or issues related to licensing or regulatory actions.
Collaborating with legal and compliance teams to address any licensing or regulatory issues.
Identifying opportunities to streamline and improve accuracy in managing licensure and regulatory matters.
Maintain orderly and accurate records, files and documentation.
Maintain and update legal/regulatory database(s).
Other duties as assigned.

Required
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritizing tasks and meeting demands in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to manage complex documentation and reporting requirements.
Strong knowledge of pharmacy licensing processes and regulations within a controlled multistate space.
Ability to understand and carry out instructions with limited direction.
Possess a detail-oriented perspective.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of information and data in accordance with policies.
Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays in alignment with departmental and industry demands.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or a related field is desired.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience supporting legal or regulatory compliance efforts preferred.
Preferred
Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred.
Strong ability to interact effectively with regulatory agencies, healthcare professionals, and internal teams.
Proficient to expert level of knowledge of variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Smartsheet, PowerPoint).
Previous work experience at a pharmacy or pharmacy benefit manager.
