Junior Devops Engineer - GCP

Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (e.g., GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions).
Collaborate with development teams to automate CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Cloud Build.
Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager, or other tools.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and scalability of applications.
Implement and manage security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), networking, and data encryption.
Maintain and optimize cloud costs and resource usage.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and manage containerized environments (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
Ensure proper logging, monitoring, and alerting systems are in place using Stackdriver or other monitoring tools.

Required
Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and associated services (GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, etc.)
Strong experience with Kubernetes and Docker
Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Cloud Build, or similar
Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager
Experience with Linux/Unix systems and scripting (Bash, Python, etc.)
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Stackdriver, Prometheus, or Grafana
Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments
