Required
5+ years of experience managing engineering managers in a high growth environment.
5+ years of hands-on software development experience. You won’t be writing code but you need to be able to speak with authority on deep technical issues and drive programs that ensure high quality implementation.
Demonstrated ability to lead multiple cross-functional engineering teams, with a focus on fostering collaboration, innovation, and efficiency across teams.
Experience building and maintaining high scale high throughput cloud based applications.
Proven experience in designing and managing distributed systems at scale, with a deep understanding of consistency, partitioning, and resilience in highly available systems.
Deep understanding of Kubernetes and the ecosystem of operational tools associated with it.
Experience with implementing and maintaining SRE practices, including service level objectives (SLOs), service level indicators (SLIs), and incident management processes to ensure platform reliability.
Strong background in leveraging data and metrics to drive decision-making processes, with experience in setting and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for engineering teams.
Experience in managing engineering budgets, including headcount planning, vendor management, and optimizing resource allocation across multiple teams.
In-depth knowledge of cloud security best practices, with experience implementing secure development practices and ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2).
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent experience.
