Responsibilities

Identify and define key business metrics (i.e. eligible demand, conversion rates, loss actuals v. forecasts) that keep the company moving forward with confidence.

Own credit policies throughout the lending process including frontline decisioning, pricing, fraud, verifications, and servicing.

Manage portfolio health and loan performance and working cross-functionally with teams such as Product, Operations and Financial Partner teams

Understand credit risk, monitor performance of strategies and portfolio while documenting and communicating results, escalating issues as they arise

Uncover opportunities to grow the business in a sustainable and responsible manner by mitigating risk, protecting partner returns, and putting members in the best position to succeed financially.

Required

2-4 years of related experience

Business acumen and work experience in the Consumer Lending Business

High-caliber critical thinking and problem solving skills for all kinds of business problems

Consistently demonstrates high levels of domain expertise such as underwriting of unsecured consumer loans

Drives solutions through defining requirements all the way to implementation with minimal guidance

Technical: High level of experience with SQL, Tableau, and R/Python

Provides subject matter expertise insights and guidance to team members

Experience presenting to Executive and Senior Leadership

Preferred

Advanced degree in a quantitative field, such as math, economics, CS, engineering, physics, etc

Prior experience in fintech, big tech (financial product role) or financial services
