Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of advanced data modeling, predictive analytics, and business intelligence tools to forecast trends, monitor performance, and inform strategic decision-making for school leadership teams.
Develop interactive dashboards and real-time data tools that provide insights into school performance, enabling leadership teams to track progress and adjust strategies as needed. Champion the adoption of innovative data practices to continually enhance data-driven decision-making processes.
Produce comprehensive and customized data reports and visualizations that analyze key school metrics such as academic performance, improvement scores, attendance rates, and equity indicators. Integrate data from Finance, Operations, and HR to generate actionable insights that guide strategic priorities and support targeted classroom interventions.
Facilitate goal-setting and action-planning sessions with school leaders, leveraging data insights to identify critical improvement areas, establish realistic, data-informed goals, and develop actionable plans with clear timelines and resource allocations. These plans should promote equity and directly align with classroom strategies.
Align data with school improvement strategies to support the implementation of Continuous School Improvement Plans (CSIPs) and monitor their impact on student outcomes, with an emphasis on reducing performance gaps.
Define and track performance metrics and desired outcomes such as improvements in student achievement, reduction of equity gaps, and increased data literacy among school leaders, ensuring accountability and a clear picture of success.
Ensure the integrity and ethical use of data by maintaining high standards for data quality, consistency, and responsible management, fostering trust in data-driven decisions across the district.
Oversee the maintenance and timely updates of the Continuous Improvement and Accountability page on the district’s communication platform, ensuring accurate and engaging information dissemination to all stakeholders.
Manage and analyze annual program evaluations for major district-wide initiatives within the Department of Professional Learning, providing data-driven insights for program enhancement.
Lead, coordinate, and execute special projects as assigned, ensuring alignment with district goals and priorities.

Required

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in data analysis, school improvement, and educational leadership.
Proven experience leading data discussions and supporting data-driven decision-making in a K-12 setting.
Valid Georgia Professional Standards Commission-approved certificate in educational leadership and eligibility for the NPL certificate in educational leadership.

Preferred

Master’s degree in education, Data Science, Educational Leadership, or a related field preferred.
