Responsibilities
Supervise auditors, review audit reports and findings in order to maintain high quality, accuracy, and client communications
Manage auditor utilization, performance, and work quality (i.e. auditor KPIs) to achieve optimal efficiency
Monitor and manage audit delivery costs and workforce expenses to achieve business objectives.
Identify territory workforce needs and support talent acquisition in identifying, sourcing, and interviewing for open positions
Develop/implement onboarding and training plans for new auditors to meet business and client expectations
Identify, conduct, and/or manage auditor calibration activities
Monitor efficiency, timeliness, and prioritization in work completion and communicate, rebalance, or reassign when necessary
Assist with investigation and resolution of internal and external complaints
Provide departmental performance reports as requested
Assist in the development and implementation of new business opportunities and growth
Support the development and implementation of existing or new company systems that support daily operations
Accountable for ensuring compliance with company and client program standards and procedures
Assist with creating, implementing, and achieving budget/revenue goals
Assist the company in client follow-ups and ascertaining client satisfaction
Perform other duties as requested

Required
Demonstrated experience in managing business, departmental or program and personnel management related to Food Safety / Audit Delivery
Familiarity with auditing concepts and learn auditing procedures
Ability to work independently and with a team
Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to maintain a valid and current US passport for travel
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Proficient with Microsoft Office software, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc
Must be located on the East Coast of the US
Preferred
Three (3) or more years of business or personnel management experience
Training certificate, experience, or course in some Human Resources applications/demonstrated skills in some aspects of personnel management
Bachelor’s degree preferably in a science food-related field
Training certificate or registration demonstrating successful completion of one (1) or more auditor training courses
Foreign language skills as appropriate to the client's home country
