Responsibilities

Help drive comprehensive and ongoing Tenancy and SaaS security assessments via both manual and automated means

Perform vulnerability and compliance gap risk assessments

Work with development and SOC/SIEM teams to improve security alerts

Work with Compliance teams to support gap analysis and evidence collection

Support security incident response as required

Partner with software development through ongoing security identification

Partner with Site Reliability Engineering to help identify and work with them to improve automation mechanisms

Seek out opportunities to improve systems and reporting mechanisms

Required

Passion for seeing security as a first class concern in modern cloud services.

Detail oriented and enjoy finding anomalies in large data sets.

Experience with vulnerability assessments, CVE scoring, OWASP and security best practices.

Comfortable with regulatory compliance, control assessments and audits.

Ability to accurately define high-level compliance controls as beneficial and effective security controls.

Collaborative and enjoy taking initiative for improvement.

Dedicated to helping others be successful in their approach to security.

Experience in reading production code (Java, Go) and coding small utilities in Python.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
