Responsibilities
Select and write the non-calendar sections of the DDFSP monthly e-news.
Recruit and schedule speakers for the monthly educational webinar series, Caregiver Connections, and manage all pre-webinar logistics.
Facilitate or co-facilitate three caregiver support groups and provide coverage for additional groups as needed.
Present at Memory Makers: An Early-Stage Memory Loss Educational Support Program.
As needed, staff engagement, outreach and community events.
Work with DDFSP staff on special projects including the creation of caregiver guides and educational materials.
Complete office tasks necessary to the program’s work, including, but not limited to entering data in our client tracking system REDCap and iContact.

Required
Adherence to the practice standards and ethical guidelines of NASW.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Extensive knowledge of dementia required.
Minimum of ten years of experience working with individuals and families living with dementia.
Proficient in newsletter writing and editing.
Work requires a general business background generally equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
Work requires 4 years related business or administrative experience to acquire competence in applying general personnel practices, accounting and budgeting principles and coordination of major administrative functions.
A master's degree in a business-related field may be substituted for 2 years’ experience.
OR ANY OTHER EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Preferred
Master's degree in social work from an accredited school of social work.
