Responsibilities
You’ll be a part of our extraordinary business sales organization set on changing the world and empowering our customers to do the same. The customer experience will be in your hands, establishing relationships and offering solutions through customer sales presentations. You’ll play a vital role in growing and maintaining our existing customer base and managing churn.
Identifying, acquiring and penetrating accounts, with a focus on highly advanced utilities services such as (but not limited to) Intelligent Lighting.
Negotiating contracts and identifying and closing contract renewal opportunities.
Establishing, growing, and maintaining positive relationships and/or partnerships with internal and external customers.
Fulfilling contracts internally by working with key functional groups and third party vendors.
Leading efforts to fulfill contracts internally by working with key functional groups.
Developing and implementing a strategic sales plan to further penetrate accounts and drive activations with assigned area and regional team members.

Required
A Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Outside sales or account management experience.
A valid driver’s license.
Preferred
A Master’s degree.
Four or more years experience with smart communities and/or electric/gas/water utilities and service companies.
Demonstrated experience leading a sales team in a commission-based sales environment.
Prospecting, funnel management and account management experience. Ideally, with major or national accounts.
Managed competing priorities with tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Demonstrated interpersonal, negotiation, and closing skills.
