Responsibilities

Execute all facets of the training development life-cycle for various training types, including instructor-led courses, eLearning/computer-based and online training, and blended learning
Apply adult learning theories and methodologies to design, develop, update and maintain instructor-led and computer-based courses, assessments and supplemental training materials
Analyze and assess effectiveness of current training strategy and materials; Identify gaps and utilize that information to refine the training approach
Develop detailed course design documents to include Instructional Design Maps, Course Outlines and storyboards
Use established Style Guide for training content development
Utilize Microsoft Word templates to create facilitator guides, competency assessments, job aids, user guides, and other printable materials
Employ Rapid Development Software (such as Captivate, Camtasia and Articulate) to develop interactive computer-based courseware (to include branching and decision trees)
Write scripts for video and audio content
Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts, functional analysts, solution architects, clinicians and application owners to develop course content
Review, compile and analyze assessment and evaluation data and make recommendations for training modifications
Actively participate in peer review sessions and offer constructive comment with the intent of improving the team's products and services
Proactively communicate and interact with multiple vendor partners, coworkers, and the government client from a remote work setting; Attend meetings as part of internal and external collaboration
Develop a plan and timeline to create training materials and take ownership of project milestones
Identify risks and mitigation strategies
Host review sessions with the government client to capture and receive input on materials
Support team ideas and initiatives that contribute to the success of the customer program/project

Required

BS degree in Education, Instructional Design, or Instructional Technology and 4 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 years of prior relevant experience.
US Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain an ADP IT-II Public Trust Clearance based on the minimum of a Tier 3 investigation. Federal Government requirement.
Four years’ experience developing and delivering training courses to a variety of audiences
Authoring ability using Adobe Captivate, Camtasia and Articulate Storyline
Experience using Microsoft Word templates
Experience working with remote teams and leadership
Ability to interact with and switch between teams and projects with minimal warning as project phases evolve
Strong time management follow-through skills
Strong attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication, with a solid knowledge of the structure and content of the English language, including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar
Communicate effectively with all levels of project team
Familiar with ADA Section 508c accessibility requirements

Preferred

Master’s degree in Instructional Design or Adult Education
Experience with electronic health record training content and/or healthcare industry
Previous Millennium training and/or sustainment experience
Experience converting ILT to eLearning
Experience collaborating across multiple functional teams
Prior consulting experience with large-scale Enterprise level and/or government project
