Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers, fostering a culture of high performance, innovation, and continuous learning.

Be a strong advocate for engineering excellence, ensuring the team adopts best practices in software development, testing, and deployment.

Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Data, Marketing, and stakeholders across the company to ensure alignment between business goals and technical implementation.

Drive technical projects and provide leadership in an innovative and fast-paced environment.

Encourage a data-driven culture, supporting experimentation to find growth levers and optimize user experience.

Have the courage to challenge the status quo and make tough decisions about refactoring or changing technical direction when necessary.

Required

Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or in a similar leadership role within a tech-driven, growth-focused environment.

Demonstrable experience in fostering a culture of fast-paced development and learning.

Strong technical background with hands-on experience in modern software development practices and web technologies (including Rails, React and React Native).

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

An action-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering results while maintaining high standards for quality and performance.
