Responsibilities
Create graphics and social media posts for SPEL stories and interviews
Assist with other social media content and campaigns

Required
Strong eye for design
Typography skills
Graphic design skills
Experience creating engaging social media content
Knowledge of design principles and techniques
Attention to detail and creativity
Ability to collaborate with a team and meet deadlines
Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
Availability for weekly online meetings on Tuesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. (ET)
Experience in social media management
Familiarity with social media for news publications is required
Excellent writing skills
Ability to maintain consistent voice, tone, and design across platforms
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments to meet deadlines
Preferred
Nonprofit storytelling experience is a plus
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
