Responsibilities

Works collaboratively as a senior member of the Systems Integration team under direction of KSC Application Technology Leadership.

Supports, maintains, and develops HL7, X12, and EDI integration solutions within application and interface engine environments.

Acts as a project lead or team member on multi-team projects and uses advanced skill set to plan, develop, test, troubleshoot, and support system integration-related projects, solutions, and applications.

Acts as mentor to others learning essential and advanced systems integration-related skills

Required

Bachelor’s degree in a technical area or equivalent work experience.

Minimum of four years experience in healthcare-related HL7/X12/EDI systems integration.

Valid Texas driver’s license.

Advanced technical competency in one or more of the following: HL7/X12/EDI Interfaces & Conversions, Interface Administration (Epic preferred), Integration Engine Administration (Cloverleaf preferred), Tcl/Tk Programming, Integration Specification Development, Integration Project Management, Unix AIX Systems and Scripting.

Flexibility and the ability to adapt to change.

Proven communication, presentation, analytical, problem solving, technical and writing skills.

Candidates must have a positive “can do” attitude and a professional demeanor.

Preferred

Advanced degree preferred.

Previous work experience with Epic Systems and Healthvision/Quovadx Cloverleaf integration technologies.

Advanced certification including: Epic Interface Administrator, Cloverleaf Levels I, II, or III Certification/s, Other Application/Vendor Certification/s, IT and/or Clinical-Related Certification/s.
