Responsibilities

Configure, manage, and monitor the Informatica Cloud Data Governance & Catalog platform to ensure optimal performance.

Implement and maintain cataloging processes, data lineage mappings, and metadata import/export functions.

Regularly monitor and troubleshoot platform issues, including connectivity and synchronization efforts.

Coordinate and manage new CDGC updates and releases.

Resolve technical issues in collaboration with Informatica support.

Create and maintain technical documentation and run books for CDGC functionalities.

Manage and document configuration changes, updates, and enhancements in CDGC.

Integrate metadata from various data sources (databases, cloud storage, data warehouses, APIs, and third-party systems) into CDGC.

Manage metadata mapping and lineage, ensuring end-to-end visibility across the data lifecycle.

Set up database connections and scanning jobs in collaboration with database administrators.

Troubleshoot and resolve database connector scanning issues.

Configure and manage AD group access to ensure secure data access and compliance with internal and external policies.

Implement and execute on legal and regulatory compliance initiatives, such as PII identification, GDPR, CCPA, and NYDFS, by leveraging CDGC capabilities.

Enable and maintain single sign-on capability for CDGC users.

Set up and monitor necessary firewalls in collaboration with infrastructure teams.

Install and maintain necessary secure agents.
