Responsibilities

Process Optimization: Drive improvements in engineering processes to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness. Champion best practices in development and agile methodologies to create a productive and collaborative environment.
Collaboration and Communication: Serve as a point of contact for other teams and departments, ensuring clear and open communication across the organization. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to support project alignment and meet broader company objectives.
Technical Acumen: While less involved in hands-on coding, maintain a strong understanding of team processes and challenges, contributing technical guidance when needed. Stay updated on industry trends to provide relevant insights that support team innovation.

Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience may also be considered.
5+ years of engineering experience with a demonstrated progression in technical roles and responsibilities, including experience managing or mentoring team members.
2+ years of people management experience, ideally overseeing teams in a software development or technical environment.
Proven expertise in agile methodologies (such as Lean UX, Scrum, or Kanban) and project management principles, with hands-on experience in process improvement and team optimization.
Solid understanding of technical architecture, system design, and development best practices.
Experience working cross-functionally with product managers, UX designers, and other teams to ensure project alignment and team success.
Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team. Skilled in fostering a culture of growth, accountability, and continuous improvement through effective coaching and feedback.
Strong understanding of the engineering stack, tools, and methodologies, with the ability to provide technical guidance and insights that enhance team performance.
Proficient in planning and prioritizing projects, managing timelines, and addressing roadblocks. Able to maintain project visibility and ensure timely delivery of key initiatives.
Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work seamlessly across departments. Adept at building relationships and aligning with stakeholders to meet shared objectives.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Skilled in ensuring alignment through effective documentation and presentation.
Strong analytical abilities, with a talent for identifying root causes, evaluating alternatives, and implementing solutions that drive team and organizational success.
