Responsibilities

Drive Network Reliability initiatives with an emphasis on scalable automation and telemetry, and security, that empowers the Production Network to operate effectively.

Build software and systems to manage and monitor the network (i.e. common languages are Python, Go and JavaScript).

Develop automation systems and tooling to improve efficiencies in network operations.

Work cross-functionally with various Roblox Infrastructure groups to maintain a highly available and highly performant infrastructure.

Participate in periodic on-call rotation.

Required

BA/BS degree in a relevant engineering field/equivalent experience, with a minimum of 4 years of comparable experience.

Experience developing network related software, which could include network automation, monitoring systems, or network device configuration management.

Experience working on large scale Network Infrastructure systems in a production environment.

Proven understanding of L1-L4 Network layers, with background experience working with Physical Network Routers and Switches considered a plus.
