Responsibilities

Understand and analyze security trends and risks for each environment
Notify and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure awareness
Tracking and driving continuous improvement and prompt risk mitigation working with partner teams across our Azure services
Provide continuous improvements to maintain world-class security practices in line with Microsoft’s evolving security controls
Assist in defining the program outcomes, prioritizing the most effective security controls, monitoring progress, identifying and eliminating blockers, and implementing continuous security posture improvements.
Surface insights to the team, leadership, and Microsoft senior leadership team as needed to update, influence, and improve security while reducing engineering friction.

Required

2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development + OR equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience in cybersecurity assurance.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development + OR equivalent experience.
1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
6+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
Experience in cybersecurity and program management specifically in security governance.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute operational strategies that support sovereign cloud objectives.
Experience with defining and tracking OKRs and KPIs to measure program performance.
