Responsibilities

Lead the design and architecture of complex AI solutions. Develop comprehensive solution architectures, including data collection and curation, model assessment, and experimental design.

Provide technical guidance and project leadership throughout the customer solution lifecycle. Mentor and guide junior team members and ensure best practices are followed.

Scope down first versions of things, being scrappy, rapidly derisking. Identify the most important bottlenecks and how to solve them. Smoothly oversee many moving pieces and build good project infrastructure. Evaluate, mentor and amplify world-class experts in various domains. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope

Engage with clients at a strategic level, understanding their needs, challenges, and business goals. Translate client requirements into robust technical solutions and communicate complex concepts effectively.

Drive innovation by staying current with the latest advancements in AI and related technologies. Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to enhance AI capabilities.

Implement and enforce standards for data quality. Conduct reviews of data and ensure solutions meet high-quality standards.

Contribute to strategic decision-making processes within the organization. Influence the direction of AI projects and initiatives.

Ability to review Solution Engineering solutions for project-blocking issues, knowledge of LLMs and AI research trends, XML skills, data quality metrics

Previous experience in operations

Typically 3+ years of experience in AI solutions, machine learning, data engineering, and/or technical project management

A Master's degree in a STEM field with strong exposure to ML/AI concepts is advantageous, as is a Bachelor's degree combined with relevant work experience

Candidates who demonstrate a strong blend of technical and arts/humanities expertise

A technical background in software engineering, data engineering or data science

Machine learning or AI knowledge

Familiarity with SQL

Proven experience as a Project Manager

Experience with screening and recruitment
