Responsibilities

Follow up on Third Party Claim Reimbursements for billing and collection of payments
Perform and process accurate billing procedures for all payors using the SSI system
Monitor and audit status of errors and ensure timely follow-up on claims
Maintain communication with external agencies and internal departments for compliance
Assist the Customer Service area with patient concerns to ensure prompt resolution

Required

High School diploma or GED required
One year of experience in healthcare, finance, accounting, banking, insurance, billing, or related fields
One year of college can be substituted for experience

Preferred

Experience with medical claims management systems
Familiarity with government and managed care reimbursement processes
Strong analytical skills to resolve billing issues and denials
