Responsibilities

Visit Carhartt Wholesale accounts that have a designated selling space/shop within the store and provide Carhartt visual merchandising training to store management/associates.
Provide information from the store level to assist in the development of new processes and programs for the visual merchandising department.
Identify opportunities that will elevate the shop presentation, make certain Carhartt standards and guidelines are being met, and provide associate training that drives revenue.
Execute the Carhartt shop installations.
Communicate information and feedback from the store level to cross-functional partners (Sales, Retail Brand Marketing, Visual Merchandising) and across different levels of the organization including the Senior Leadership Team.
Collaborate with Carhartt partners and develop strategies that will support retail merchandising activities in stores, including store evaluations, redesign of retail floor, seasonal floor sets, signage, lifestyle elements, and training.

Required

Candidate must reside in the area of Seattle, WA.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience required in Merchandising or Marketing.
2 years of visual merchandising, visual design, or marketing experience with emphasis in a multi-retailer/manufacturer’s environment required.
Experience with retail plan-o-grams.
Excellent written and oral communication skills with the proven ability to communicate with all levels including management and retail partners.
Outstanding organizational skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize workload.
Exceptional attention to detail.
MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) proficiency required.
Travel (75%)
Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
Moderate Lifting (15-30 lbs)
Remote location: Associate will have no regular requirement to be on-site. Travel on-site is limited to special events.
Retail Environment
Tobacco Free
Willing to work some weekends if necessary

Preferred

Softlines / apparel experience preferred.
Retail floor planning software experience preferred.
