Responsibilities

Analyze and document business requirements related to EDI workflows and transactions (e.g., 835, 837).
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective use of the Availity platform for claims, eligibility, and other payer-provider interactions.
Troubleshoot and resolve EDI transmission errors, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units for system enhancements and issue resolution.
Develop process improvement strategies to optimize EDI and Availity usage.

Required

Proven experience in EDI processes and transaction sets (e.g., HIPAA X12 standards).
Hands-on expertise with Availity or similar healthcare clearinghouse platforms.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred

Experience in healthcare, insurance, or related domains is preferred.
Familiarity with healthcare industry standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
Knowledge of SQL or other querying tools for data analysis.
Experience working with clearinghouses, payers, or providers.
