Responsibilities
Ignition Platform Management - Technical stewardship for ongoing MVP and PoC project activities
Installation and configuration of Ignition projects in enterprise and site environments
Mapping of data elements (actual and simulated) into Ignition projects
Support troubleshooting issues and defect (escalation to developers)
Solution review to ensure alignment with best practices and standards
Assess reusability/templatization
Assess technical readiness for future phases
Platform Configuration/Optimization - Alignment and setup of Ignition environments based on global standards
Performance Tuning
Monitoring Configuration
Notification Setup
Continuous improvements of documented platform standards
Low to Medium Complexity Ignition Development - Delivery of business cases using Ignition
Design of solutions in Ignition based on user/functional requirements
Solution Development based on standards/best practices
Unit Testing/Functional Testing
Solution Documentation (Install, admin, and user guides)

Required
5-7 years of proven experience working with Ignition and/or similar platforms.
Previous work experience delivering business application solutions and integrations to best leverage existing applications and tools
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, on multiple projects
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve application-related issues
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
Attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality solutions
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java
Hands-on experience with SQL and database technologies
Preferred
Experience with managing interfaces (OPC-UA/DA, MQTT, JDBC, REST/SOAP, Modbus, etc.)
Proficiency using Ignition (including Core platform, Perspective, Web Development, and Enterprise Administration Modules)
Advanced background using Python, Java, and Microsoft SQL
Excellent problem solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Time management and prioritization
Experience with Microservice/Event Driven Architecture is a plus
Experience working with digital transformation/Industry 4.0 efforts is a plus
