Responsibilities

Provide DB2 technical support (administration, performance, design, and maintenance) for the multiple mainframe DB2 Databases.

Ensure best practices in database planning, design, configuration, performance and capacity planning and growth.

Help migrate mainframe data to newer relational databases.

Work with the DBA ITM1 to ensure that team goals and metrics are met.

Support 10 applications including OJI, RCEXPRESS, WOTC, and SETS data warehouse.

Support approximately 10 ODJFS database applications.

Required

10 years experience in DB2 DBA and will be responsible for providing DB2 technical support (administration, performance, design, and maintenance) for the multiple mainframe DB2 Databases.

Ensure best practices in database planning, design, configuration, performance and capacity planning and growth.

Additional knowledge in relational databases is highly recommended as they will be helping to migrate mainframe data to newer relational databases.

Work with the DBA ITM1 to ensure that team goals and metrics are met.

Support 10 applications including OJI, RCEXPRESS, WOTC, and SETS data warehouse.

Support approximately 10 ODJFS database applications.
