Responsibilities
Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Edged's product sets, providing deep technical insight into the full range of interconnection, colocation, data center, and energy solutions.
Maintain an extensive technical and operational understanding of data center hardware, software, and IT infrastructure, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and innovations.
Partner with Procurement and Operations teams to streamline product availability, optimize delivery lead times, and enhance supply chain efficiency.
Conduct ongoing research into market trends for IT infrastructure and data center services to develop and refine strategies that ensure Edged’s product offerings meet the evolving needs of both Wholesale and Retail customers.
Collaborate with Marketing and Commercial Services teams to create and implement programs and campaigns that raise awareness of Edged data center products and drive sales growth.
Work across diverse functional teams (Sales, Operations, Engineering) to continually improve the customer experience, ensuring seamless integration of feedback, service improvements, and product refinements.
Lead and manage the successful rollout of new product launches, ensuring cross-departmental coordination and timely execution.
Identify and manage the retirement of products that have reached their end-of-life stage, ensuring smooth customer transitions and minimal disruption.
Receive and analyze utility invoices to help determine energy cost. Combine power usage, PUE, energy costs and other operational or customer information to determine what each customer should be invoiced for energy consumption and then ensure finance and billing are invoicing appropriately.
Create and deliver executive presentations that provide comprehensive insights into product health, performance metrics, opportunities, and challenges.
Participate in the development and delivery of internal training programs to ensure team members are equipped with the necessary knowledge to support product success.
Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives, on-time delivery, and effective resource allocation.
Partner with the Sales organization to support strategic customer engagements, providing product expertise that drives business growth.
Attend industry conferences and events to stay updated on emerging trends, network with key industry players, and promote Edged's products.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or a related technical field is required.
7+ years of experience in product management with a focus on the data center industry with a strong focus on data center products and services.
Proven understanding of Ordering, Provisioning, and Product Lifecycle Management related to data center product lines, including interconnection, colocation, and space/power offerings.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Office 365) and the ability to use these tools for data analysis, reporting, and presentations.
A basic understanding of financial concepts such as margin, CAPEX, and OPEX to make informed decisions on product profitability and cost management.
A basic understanding of the energy and utility industry; how it works and how it impacts the data center industry.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to confidently and effectively engage with stakeholders at multiple organizational levels, from technical teams to senior executives.
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with business objectives.
Preferred
Master of Business Administration (MBA) or a similar advanced degree is preferred, but not mandatory.
Experience in the Colocation and Technology Industry, particularly with a focus on Interconnection and Space/Power products, is a strong plus.
