Responsibilities
Developing financial strategies and plans in alignment with the company’s short- and long-term objectives.
Leading a team of 3 to maximize their potential, sustain a high level of employee engagement and produce accurate results.
Crafting and communicating financial forecasts, budgets, performance metrics and benchmarks.
Maintaining a system of controls over accounting transactions, including maintenance of the chart of accounts.
Making high-quality investing decisions to advance the business and increase profits.
Enforce adherence to local, state and federal regulations, and internal policies to maintain legality and business ethics.
Nurturing a relationship of trust with key vendors, partners and stakeholders.
Evaluating and addressing revenue, cost of goods and expense anomalies.
Ensuring timely and accurate local, state and federal reporting, tax filings and liability payments.
Monitoring all monetary and banking transactions and activities, including lines of credit and bank reconciliations.
Overseeing A/P, A/R, Payroll, Sales Commissions and Benefits payments.
Administering Comp and Benefits programs and business insurances.
Devising solutions or improvements based on financial and non-financial data.
Maintaining deep industry and market knowledge.
Understanding, managing and ensuring all covenants are not exceeded and do not fail: bank, stock, shareholder and other covenants.
Being a positive team member who contributes to the positive culture that is in place.

Required
Bachelor’s Degree + 10 Years of Financial Leadership Experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience developing profitable strategies and implementing within the vision
Detailed understanding of corporate finance, corporate governance and performance management standards and principles.
Strong background in accounting and Excel, with additional experience with payroll systems and standard office and collaboration software.
Demonstrated high level of attention to detail
History of maintaining the integrity of confidential information.
Exceptional problem solving, mathematics and data analysis skills.
Ability to foster and maintain good relationships within all levels of the organization, communicate effectively and listen and consider others’ views.
