Responsibilities
Lead, inspire, and manage the entire sales department, setting ambitious goals and driving the team toward achieving significant growth targets. Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company's long-term objectives.
Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and application teams to create integrated sales strategies that leverage the company's technical capabilities. Ensure that all sales efforts are aligned with broader business goals and customer needs.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the company’s market share in both existing and emerging markets. Develop key partnerships and relationships that enhance the company’s competitive position.
Foster and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met and that AK Power Solutions is positioned as their preferred provider. Provide strategic oversight on major accounts and ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans, including forecasting and tracking key account metrics. Provide senior management with insights into sales performance, market trends, and future sales projections.
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to inform sales strategies. Develop and oversee sales campaigns that drive market penetration and achieve revenue targets.
Utilize a deep understanding of electrical engineering to provide technical guidance and support to the sales team and customers. Ensure that the team is well-equipped to address complex technical inquiries and provide tailored solutions.
Regularly monitor and report on the performance of the sales team, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership. Ensure that the team meets or exceeds all sales targets and performance expectations.
Identify and address the training and development needs of the sales team. Implement continuous learning initiatives to ensure the team remains at the forefront of industry trends and best practices.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Extensive experience in a Electric Vehicle Infrastructure senior sales leadership role, with a proven track record of driving significant growth and managing high-performing sales teams.
Experience in the electrical engineering or power solutions industry is essential.
Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and manage a diverse sales team.
Strong people management skills and experience in developing and implementing successful sales strategies.
Deep understanding of the power solutions sector, with the ability to translate technical knowledge into strategic sales initiatives.
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage with clients and professionals at all levels.
Proficient in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
Preferred
A strong technical background in electrical engineering is highly preferred.
An MBA is preferred but not required.
