Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain software applications according to business requirements and technical specifications.

Write clean, scalable, and efficient code for web, mobile, or desktop applications.

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.

Collaborate with product managers and business analysts to define application functionality and features.

Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Conduct unit testing and work closely with QA teams to ensure the software meets quality standards.

Document application code, processes, and procedures.

Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices.

Assist in system design, architecture decisions, and contribute to improving development workflows.

Provide technical support and resolve issues post-deployment.

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

Proven experience as an Application Developer or in a similar software development role

Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, or other relevant technologies

Experience with frameworks such as .NET, React, Angular, or similar

Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and database management systems

Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues

Good understanding of version control systems (Git, SVN, etc.)

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Required Security clearance

Preferred

Federal Experience is a plus
