Responsibilities
Lead and manage all phases of the development lifecycle for utility-scale wind and solar projects, including site origination, permitting, interconnection, PPA/offtake agreements, and pre-construction.
Develop and execute the company’s project development strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and growth targets.
Oversee and guide the identification and evaluation of project sites, including land acquisition, environmental assessments, and regulatory compliance.
Manage and build relationships with landowners, government agencies, utilities, and other key stakeholders to facilitate project approvals and smooth execution.
Collaborate with finance teams to ensure projects are economically viable, supporting financial modeling, tax equity structures, and investment analysis.
Drive interconnection processes with transmission operators, ensuring compliance and timelines are met.
Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing development team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and policy changes to identify new opportunities and mitigate risks.
Serve as a key representative of the company in high-level negotiations, industry events, and strategic partnerships.

Required
10+ years of experience leading utility-scale wind and solar projects from inception to completion.
Comprehensive expertise in land acquisition, permitting, interconnection, PPA negotiations, and project financing.
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and permitting for renewable energy projects.
Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and achieve project milestones.
