Responsibilities
Develop a campus culture that embraces digital teaching and learning by supporting faculty in online and hybrid course development and revision.
Use a growth mindset to help the faculty function as members of a supportive course development team.
Support faculty through the course design and development stages.
Build OE courses in accordance with design standards and best practices.
Bring research-based perspectives to the art and science of instructional design.
Collaborate with the instructional art and instructional applications programming staff.

Required
Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA)
1–3 years experience in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology or related field
Knowledge in Instructional Design and learning theories, approaches, and practices, including the ability to remain current within the discipline
Building courses in a learning management system in a higher education setting
Instructional design skills that effectively use various technologies and practices in the online experience
Teaching or training in a higher education setting
Using appropriate educational technology to enhance teaching and learning in online courses
Maintaining a growth mindset
Ability to analyze feedback from summative evaluation of OE classes and develop strategies for faculty to use to improve student outcomes
Ability to work as a member of a cooperative team of professionals
Preferred
3-5 years experience
Knowledge of human motivation theory
Expertise in Canvas
Adept at providing support for multiple courses in a variety of disciplines
Ability to participate in communities of practice in digital teaching and learning
Demonstrated ability to be resilient and agile
