Responsibilities

Manage the scopes of work of grant and contract initiatives, including developing and maintaining detailed project plans, coordinating work efforts of internal teams on selected projects, and overseeing implementation of practices and products.
Co-manage the Dynamic Impact (the team-directed continuous improvement approach), which includes leading a team of subject matter experts, administrative assistants, educational consultants, and program quality specialists.
Provide strategic vision and direction for internal staff around development and dissemination of CTE’s leadership strategies.
Provide leadership and oversight to help subject matter experts and trainers continue professional development to maintain expertise in CTE programs and practices.
Coordinate research and evaluation regarding closing achievement gaps, fidelity of implementation, and data-informed decision making, and high-performance teaming.
Collaborate with stakeholders to produce reports, articles, and professional publications.

Required

Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline required.
Five years of related experience.
Demonstrated excellence in education leadership, supervision, and administration.
Strong analytic thinker with the ability to be flexible, creative, and visionary.
Knowledge of online project management and productive oversight of educational partners.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Possess strengths in use of technologies to promote effective decision making, strategic planning, and efficiencies in technical assistance.
Must be able to problem-solve and find solutions to technical challenges using positive team-driven practices.
Must be able to work productively with internal and external teams.
Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment to meet project deadlines.
Must be able to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences, including international and national stakeholders, state department and school district leaders; agency and private program leaders; community stakeholders; teachers and administrators; and research scholars in the fields of early childhood, special education, and transformative leadership.
Experience with use of web-based technologies.
Extensive, successful experience supervising professional staff, sub-contractors and/or associates.
Candidate must be able to demonstrate a translation of research into practice—showing how analyses of data trends and findings were turned into actionable recommendations for public policy, programmatic decisions, and effective implementation of evidence-based practices.

Preferred

Master’s or Doctorate Degree in education or in leadership and organization with an emphasis in areas such as technical assistance support, transformative leadership, data-informed decision making, and program dissemination and scale-up.
Bilingual Spanish/English.
Five to seven years of experience at the school, district, and/or state level, including administration, project management, oversite of educational assessments, grant proposal management, analysis of teacher and student performance data, and generation of evaluation reports.
