Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive property site risk assessments to satisfy both underwriting and customer requirements for accounts and prospects within the designated region.
Implement customer service strategies at the site level to reduce loss and enhance operations.
Deliver advanced consultative services to customers in the property sector, identify and analyze exposures with loss potential, investigate the causes and effects of major losses, and evaluate management programs.
Assess the adequacy of automatic protection and water supply systems based on technical standards.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, brokers, and business partners.
Assist in marketing risk engineering services and Zurich risk transfer insurance products.

Required

Bachelor’s Degree and 3 or more years of experience in the Property Risk Engineering area OR
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 5 or more years of experience in the Property Risk Engineering area AND
Experience with Microsoft Office
Experience working in a team environment
Bachelor’s Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Property Risk Engineering area OR
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the Property Risk Engineering area AND
Experience with Microsoft Office
Experience working in a team environment

Preferred

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Fire Science, or related degree
HPR Property experience
Loss control/Risk Engineering experience within the insurance industry
Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS)
Automotive industry property assessment experience
Strong communication and consultative skills
Outstanding collaborative skills
History of working successfully in a team environment
High degree of proficiency related to PC and MS-Office Software
