Responsibilities

Oversee the integration of security measures across global telecommunications systems, ensuring compliance with regional and international regulations.

Collaborate with international vendors, partners, and stakeholders to ensure robust and compliant security practices.

Design and implement secure network architectures, incorporating advanced security technologies (e.g., NGFWs, IPS) and practices.

Manage the configuration and maintenance of firewalls, IPS, and IPSec VPNs to protect network infrastructure and ensure secure communications.

Implement and enforce information security policies to protect data integrity, availability, and confidentiality.

Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations, including CPNI, PII, GDPR, etc.

Manage the budget for network security initiatives, ensuring effective allocation of resources.

Evaluate and select security technologies that provide optimal protection and value.

Monitor and report on financial performance against the budget, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.

Lead cross-functional projects related to network security, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.

Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of security initiatives and operational processes.

Foster collaboration between security, IT, and operational teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

15+ years of experience in network security, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.

Extensive experience with firewalls, IPSec VPNs, network segmentation, and intrusion prevention systems (IPS).

Strong understanding of InfoSec principles, data protection regulations (CPNI, PII, GDPR, etc.), and industry best practices.

Proven experience in developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and incident response plans.

Hands-on experience with security technologies such as SIEM, NGFW, VPN concentrators, and endpoint protection.

Excellent knowledge of network protocols, encryption technologies, and security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security risks and develop effective solutions.

Experience in conducting security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate security strategies and risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
