Responsibilities

Develop tools to scale Enki’s ability to provide high-quality support to our learners and partners
Oversee the code base of Enki’s products. This involves regular and skillful reviews of changes in the code base, which is contributed to by all the developers in the company.
Participate in and contribute to all regular meetings (including developer syncs, team meetings, and product meetings)

Required

Experience building significant parts of a real product that shipped to (at least) thousands of users
High degree of ownership across Enki products including enterprise educational tools, web dashboards, chatbots, mobile apps, and our home site
Develop tools to scale Enki’s ability to provide high-quality support to our learners and partners
Oversee the code base of Enki’s products
Regular and skillful reviews of changes in the code base
Participate in and contribute to all regular meetings (including developer syncs, team meetings, and product meetings)
A Javascript guru (or close to becoming one)
A strong desire to prove yourself as a major builder
Self-driven and hungry to build, yet thrives in a fully remote team
Flexible, able to iterate, and adapt to fast-changing contexts
Proficient in other core technologies of the web (e.g. TypeScript, React, React Native, Node.js, Docker, Postgres, Mongo, AWS)
Data-driven and strongly motivated by success and learnings through experiments and metrics analysis

Preferred

3+ years of work experience using Javascript, TypeScript, React, React Native, Node.js, Docker, Postgres, Mongo, AWS
Deep understanding of product design, user experience
Experience working within a cross-functional team with strong communication skills
Bachelor’s in computer science or relevant experience
Built large-scale web applications
Expertise in either mobile, web, or backend
Strong preference for candidates with at least 4 hours of overlap with EST or GMT
