Responsibilities
Supervising the implementation of projects to ensure projects are completed within the required scope, schedule and budget;
Undertaking independent studies to provide cost estimating, value engineering, design review and building evaluation on a wide range of capital and O&M projects;
Assisting NHC Districts and other staff by providing professional advice in the development of project plans to establish the scope of the project;
Providing expert advice and/or guidance related to project management on capital projects; and
Providing technical advice to ensure lowest capital cost consistent with best lifecycle cost of facilities.

Required
Completion of a Post-secondary Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Project Management or a related field
Three (3) years of related project management experience
Professional accreditation in project management, engineering, or architecture
Working experience with AutoCAD
Knowledge of Inuit communities, culture, land, Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit, Inuktut
Experience working in a northern cross-cultural environment
Preferred
Fluency in more than one of Nunavut’s official languages
