Cybersecurity Specialist (Remote in AR, MS, TN, AL, & LA)

Responsibilities
Monitor security alerts and incidents, conduct thorough investigations, and respond to security breaches promptly.
Perform regular risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and implement mitigation strategies to reduce risk exposure.
Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Conduct security awareness training for employees to promote a culture of security within the organization.
Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies, and apply this knowledge to enhance the organization’s security posture.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, such as PCI-DSS, NCUA guidelines, and other applicable laws.
Coordinate and participate in internal and external security audits, and address any findings or recommendations.
Work closely with IT and other departments to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of the organization’s operations.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, innovation, and professional growth.

Required
High School Diploma/GED
Minimum of 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field (i.e., fraud prevention, compliance), preferably within the financial services industry
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field desired
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are highly desirable
