Responsibilities

You'll work on designing and implementing our next generation Graph product based on HCD/Apache Cassandra, add new features, enhancements, and bug-fixes to existing Graph capabilities.

Engineers on this team collaborate extensively with internal teams across DataStax to coordinate for releases, supporting existing customers through defect fixes and improvements, and reviewing and advising on documentation for the project.

Required

Designing and implementing distributed and high throughput applications

A deep knowledge of Java and JVM ecosystem of open source libraries and projects

Comfortable handing problems related to concurrency and distributed computing

Experience with NoSQL databases, preferably Apache Cassandra and search index systems such as Lucene, Solr

Prior experience with a Graph database

Preferred

Experience with Kubernetes and at least one major public cloud providers is a plus
