Responsibilities

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in C#. Ensure our backend is both high-performing and reliable.

Contribute to the design of scalable backend systems, ensuring they are modular, flexible, and maintainable.

Work with product managers, designers, and frontend engineers to turn business needs into technical solutions.

Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to best practices.

Identify potential bottlenecks and optimize backend systems for performance and scalability.

Write unit tests and participate in integration testing to ensure the functionality and reliability of backend services.

Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for backend systems, APIs, and components.

Stay informed of new developments in backend technologies and bring improvements to the team.

Offer guidance and support to junior engineers, fostering their development and growth within the team.

Required

5+ years of experience in backend development, primarily with C#.

Proven experience designing and building complex, scalable systems.

Strong command of C# and a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.

Hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.

Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and familiarity with asynchronous programming.

A solid understanding of modern security practices and how to implement them within backend systems.

Proficiency with Git and other version control tools.

Familiarity with backend build tools and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

Strong analytical skills with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred

Experience with Terraform is a plus, though not a requirement.

Experience in healthcare technology is an advantage, but not essential.
