Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive accessibility plan in line with HB21-1110 requirements across the CEC network and schools.
Providing digital documentation accessibility training to staff.
Develop training video to ensure dissemination of current knowledge regarding accessibility.
Screen the CEC document for accessibility.
Prescreen public-facing documents to meet the accessibility requirement before posting.
Manage timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure all digital content and platforms meet accessibility standards.
Provide training and resources to staff on accessibility best practices and compliance requirements.
Regularly audit digital content for accessibility compliance and report progress to senior management.
Assist in creating and implementing accessibility policies and procedures.
Develop and execute a comprehensive plan to help modernize the web platform to be more scalable and secure.
Actively manage the build and maintenance of a functional website that is user-friendly and brand-appropriate.
Collaborate with marketing staff and CEC stakeholders to determine and plan execution of website page designs.
Plan to update the content on CECs website to keep pages up-to-date, brand-compliant, fresh, and intriguing.
Regularly work with marketing staff and CEC stakeholders on website campaigns, special events, and content.
Plan on developing a website style guide for cohesive website design.
Test the website using different devices, browsers, and operating systems to ensure accountability and accessibility.
Build a plan to monitor, analyze, and report all online traffic and site performance metrics and perform updates as needed.
Build a plan to ensure the website and web server perform at top functionality and efficiency.
Respond to users quickly and appropriately.
Manage access rights to ensure compliance with IT security guidelines.
Build a plan to maintain and configure virtual and cloud-based servers.
Build a plan to troubleshoot servers, set up firewall ports, and manage the CEC domain names in the DNS registrar.
Build a Plan to optimize website loading speeds and fix broken links and images.
Meet regularly with CEC school and department leadership to report on current functionality, performance metrics, and plans for future enhancements.
Provide training for users as needed.
Gather and analyze requirements and content from all departments and ensure that updates are completed promptly.
Other duties as assigned.
Build a plan to test the website and content for Accessibility issues frequently.
Update and manage accessibility statements for CEC and keep plans updated.
Build a plan to support and train internal staff on accessibility culture.
Build analytics and dashboards with various metrics for more visibility on all activity performed.

Required
Bachelors degree in Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
Computer experience with Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
Strong organizational skills, including strong emphasis on attention to detail in all aspects of assigned duties.
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly.

CEC has middle and high school campuses all across Colorado, plus an Online Campus and College Direct options.
