Responsibilities

Reconciliation of Financial Data: Regularly review and reconcile financial transactions across various platforms, including the internal sales/finance platforms, payment processors, and partner accounts, ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately.

Investigate Discrepancies: Identify and investigate discrepancies in financial data, working with relevant teams to resolve issues efficiently. Ensure that discrepancies are documented, tracked, and resolved.

Account Maintenance: Maintain up-to-date records of all reconciled payments and adjustments. Ensure that all financial transactions are properly documented and stored according to company policies.

Reporting: Prepare periodic reconciliation reports, highlighting any issues, discrepancies, or trends. Present findings to the Finance team and suggest corrective actions.

Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with Finance, Operations, Customer service and Product/Tech teams to address any payment-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies. Provide support for audits or financial reviews as needed.

Compliance and Accuracy: Ensure that all payments and reconciliation processes comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.

Process Improvement: Collaborate with the Product/Tech team to design and implement scalable solutions for optimizing the vendor reconciliation and payment process.
