Responsibilities

Design, develop, and customize WMS solutions to optimize warehouse operations.
Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to understand operational needs and translate them into technical specifications.
Develop, test, and deploy WMS enhancements, new features, and integrations with other systems such as ERP, TMS, and e-commerce platforms.
Configure system parameters, workflows, and user interfaces to meet business needs.
Ensure smooth integration between the WMS and other business systems (e.g., ERP, EDI, transportation management systems).
Develop and manage APIs for integration with third-party applications and external systems.
Oversee data migration from legacy systems to the new WMS.
Support the implementation of new WMS solutions, including setup, configuration, and testing.
Provide post-implementation support, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system performance.
Monitor WMS operations and performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
Provide technical support to end-users and assist in training warehouse staff on new functionalities.
Manage regular updates, patches, and upgrades to the WMS software.
Identify and resolve system issues, bugs, and inefficiencies.
Implement enhancements to improve system functionality, reliability, and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, IT, and supply chain to ensure WMS solutions align with overall business objectives.
Document system configurations, customizations, and technical procedures.
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a WMS Developer or in a similar role.
Hands-on experience with WMS platforms such as Manhattan, Blue Yonder (JDA), Oracle, SAP EWM, or HighJump.
Strong proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, SQL, .NET, or similar).
Experience with database management (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server).
Familiarity with warehouse operations, processes, and logistics.
Experience with WMS integrations (e.g., ERP, TMS, e-commerce platforms).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred

Experience in supply chain management and warehouse operations.
Experience with cloud-based WMS platforms and SaaS solutions.
Familiarity with WMS implementation and migration projects.
WMS certifications and relevant training.
