Responsibilities
Answer incoming telephone calls promptly and respond to patient inquiries regarding appointments, directions, and other routine matters
Schedule patient appointments while managing templates and daily schedules according to departmental protocols
Provide patients with necessary pre-visit information and financial details, referring complex inquiries to financial counselors as needed
Perform administrative duties to support clinicians, including managing messages through Practice Gateway and handling physician orders
Function as a front desk Practice Assistant II when required, ensuring efficient check-in/check-out processes

Required
Minimum one year applicable work experience required
Some additional training in office systems or other post-high school education preferred
Successful completion of BPOT and customer service training within the 90-day probationary period
Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to establish effective relationships with patients and staff
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
Experience in a healthcare setting or similar customer service role
Familiarity with physician billing, third-party insurance, and referral requirements
Proficiency in using personal computers and various software applications
