Responsibilities
Provide overall planning, coordination, and direction in the establishment and accomplishment of project goals.
Accomplish special tasks, studies, and requirements in support of CDC's mission.
Apply the foundations of computer science and computer system architecture adapted to complex and critical systems and infrastructure in support of the agency's mission.
Lead the review and disposition of IT requests for use of critical security systems data and systems resources.

To qualify at the GS-14 grade level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level, which must include the following experience: planning and coordinating information technology systems related to security infrastructure goals; providing assistance and recommendations on data processing and support for secure physical access to buildings, labs, and offices; and formulating and executing projects in accordance with physical and personnel security standards.
Have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies: Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, Problem Solving.
A copy of your transcripts or equivalent documentation is required for positions with an education requirement, or if you are qualifying based on education or a combination of education and experience.
A college or university degree generally must be from an accredited (or pre-accredited) college or university recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
