Responsibilities
Develop, lead and report objectively across all company marketing tactics. We have creative support where needed; we are looking for a full-time owner of the what and why in our marketing efforts. Success in this role will be distilled down to a number.
Understand, take responsibility for, and speak to how current tactics are interrelated and where/how they can be improved in the next iteration. Together, we will set and drive to quarterly, annual and 5-year goals using a system based on EOS.
Innovate on tactics continuously so that the brand is never sitting still. Freestyle should be a leader, not a follower, in messaging and trends, and we are not afraid to take risks.
Work with finance teams to ensure marketing is driving meaningful business results. We have an active distaste for vanity metrics.
Understand retail marketing, online marketing, social presence and community efforts and how they are different but can be interrelated. We do not need an individual contributor on any of these channels, but we do need someone who deeply understands where/when they are impactful and where/when they are not. This role will oversee all of these marketing efforts.
Act as a member of the company leadership team. We have a plan to build a 100-year, billion-dollar brand, and this is a crucial role that will be written into the story of the company’s earliest days.

Required
10+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on retail and digital marketing for consumer brands. Ideally you’ve led growth successfully at more than one brand.
Proven experience managing and growing sales at major mass consumer retailers.
Proven experience in overseeing digital marketing, including e-commerce, paid media, and social media channels.
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and guide a marketing team.
Excellent communication and reporting skills, with a strong ability to foster relationships across the organization.
Data-driven mindset with a proven track record of optimizing campaigns based on performance metrics.
Preferred
Experience in the baby care or personal care sector is a plus.
