Responsibilities
As a Supply Chain Analyst, the role involves configuring, administering, and optimizing the supply chain management modules within the Workday system. This includes procurement, inventory management, order management, logistics, and supplier management functionality.
Healthcare experience is valuable as supply chain processes in healthcare have unique requirements around procurement of medical supplies, equipment, pharmaceuticals, tracking regulated substances, managing product recalls, and maintaining compliance with regulations.
Typical responsibilities include mapping business processes to Workday capabilities, configuring security roles/rules, creating reports and dashboards, conducting testing, training end-users, supporting integration with other systems, and optimizing supply chain workflows.
Strong understanding of supply chain best practices, sourcing strategies, inventory optimization techniques, and lean/six sigma methodologies is required.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams like clinical operations, finance, IT, and third-party suppliers/vendors is essential to streamline supply chain operations.
Expertise in data analysis, problem-solving, process improvement, and change management is needed to drive supply chain efficiency and control costs.
Prior experience with an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, especially Workday Supply Chain, is highly preferred for this analyst role.
