Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of innovative media and analyst relations strategies to drive measurable business outcomes.
Leverage and expand relationships with top-tier media, influencers, and analysts to elevate client brands.
Position client executives as thought leaders by securing earned speaking engagements, media interviews, and industry awards.
Draft and review press releases, media statements, speeches, and other communication materials.
Prepare polished client presentations for media and analyst engagements, ensuring alignment with brand standards.
Maintain a deep awareness of B2B media and industry trends, delivering fresh ideas that foster earned media coverage.
Track and measure the impact of media relations efforts through detailed monthly reports tied to client objectives.

Required
At least 10-15 years in B2B media relations, with 5+ years in an agency setting.
5+ years of public relations experience in business insurance, finance, or SaaS industries.
Proven success in creating and executing media relations plans with tangible results.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
Exceptional writing, communication, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in tools such as Cision and MuckRack.
Ability to craft strategic pitching strategies that achieve high-impact coverage.
Currently self-employed or fully freelance with no full-time employment.
Comfortable working remotely and collaborating with a distributed team.
Must have a portfolio showcasing media placements, PR campaigns, and impactful coverage.
Preferred
Master’s degree or equivalent experience
