Responsibilities

Translate product requirements into hardware requirements like security, quality, performance, features, schedule and cost to develop hardware platforms

Partner with software and hardware teams to design complex technical solutions across feature areas and make data-driven recommendations based on identified risks.

Define success criteria and create relationships for implementing multiple feature areas for highly complex cross-functional projects while ensuring alignment across the business.

Build a working knowledge of the Azure infrastructure to analyze design option impacts.

Required

Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years of experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.

3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

6+ years of experience in all phases of hardware development (server, enterprise, consumer or other).

4+ years experience with communicating clear, organized program plans, status information, and collaborating in written and live forums to achieve results with large, complex sets of stakeholders.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years of experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.

8+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).

Experience working at a cloud-based company or in fields like telecom or networking.

Familiarity with modern cloud infrastructure concepts and design technique AND software development tools and techniques.
