Responsibilities
You're ready to provide training on trademark law basics and fundamentals to a wide variety of audiences, including non-trademark attorneys, the small business community, the entrepreneurial community, and students as well as keep experienced practitioners up to date on changes to trademark law and policy.
You're excited to review a wide variety of internal communications, including statements of legal policy and agency procedure, as needed, communicating all necessary changes in a timely manner.
You're eager to manage pro se working group activities related to developing and enhancing website resources for pro se applicants, including the Trademark Basics registration toolkit, instructional "how-to" videos (and answering questions related thereto), and webpages that further explain in plain language Office action refusals and requirements.
You're willing to develop scripts and decks for use in the production of various trademark informational and instructional videos, webinars, and presentations.

This position requires the completion of OF-450 Financial Disclosure.
Candidates for the GS-14 grade level must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower GS-13 grade level in the Federal service.
Experience providing training on federal law basics and fundamentals to a wide variety of audiences.
Experience in developing, preparing, and delivering information in a variety of formats to a variety of audiences.
Experience maintaining relationships with managers and representatives of other Federal agencies.
Candidates for the GS-14 grade level must have at least three (3) years of professional law/legal experience.
To meet minimum eligibility requirements for this position, applicants must possess at least a Masters of Laws (L.L.M.) degree or Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA accredited law school.
